"Un Grand Maestro de la Guitarra" El Diario, Bolivia. 24/04/10
"There are two prominent Adam Khan's to be found on the Web. One of them is a racing driver and the other a Classical Guitarist. It would be easy to compare the flying fret technique of the latter to the speed frenzy of the former, especially since Adam Khan's virtuosity is indeed impressive. But that would be misleading. Already on his first CD, "A Day in November", his main area of interest lies not in trying to break any records or in stunning the clamouring crowds. Rather, his warm and "living" sound, which creates a much stronger illusion of the Guitarist actually sitting next to you than any of those clinically digital recordings out there, is marked by the ability to make fluent rhythmic transitions and an understanding of many different styles. Which is why you may only need to listen to him perform Maximo Diego Pujol's "Preludios" to get the message: Here, Khan seemlessly switches from Rock to the Tango and from Folk to Classical, bringing out the colourful bazaar contained within these pieces. With him, the Classical Guitar alone can create manifold associations, act as a portal to diverse genres and generally provide much more than just the accompaniment to a Flamenco dance. A reason for this openness can probably at least partially be found in his personal and musical history: Coming from a South Asian background, Khan has studied with Cuban composer Leo Brower, recorded his latest CD with Argentine colleague Luis E. Orias Diz in Buenos Aires - and gathered worldwide respect with it. He may not be a racing driver, but Adam Khan has certainly hit the fast lane".

His performance in the city was wonderful, the pieces he chose displayed his fine finger work and dexterous hands. The maestro played a wide variety of music, slow and melancholic contrasted by fast and merry."
